Quite a bit to talk about this week, so let’s get right into it…
SCOOT Boeing 787-8 9V-OFH made a first visit on 20-May and also returned later on the same day.
We had the last of the Antonov AN-124 visits on 21-May with UR-82027 arriving (this time from (KRW) not (DAC)) and departing the following day.
Honkers was down to one runway for a few hours on Wednesday 24-May and there were a few diversions to TPE. Apparently B-6366 CHINA EASTERN A321 slid off of the runway while landing in heavy rain. I don’t know how many diversions we eventually had, but 3 caught my eye.
First was JET AIRWAYS Boeing 777-300ER VT-JES.

This was followed by one that attracted professional interest too; ASIANA A450-941 HL8078.

Final one was JA05KZ a NIPPON CARGO Boeing 747-400. Many thanks to Hung-Hsin, Hu for the excellent photos.
Also in on 24-May was a CHINA EASTERN B-2020 Boeing 777-300ER. There was another one of these on 25-May too: B-7343.
Our sole biz of the week arrived on 25-May in the shape of returning EVA BBJ N888YF.
The week was rounded off in style with a couple of EMIRATES arrivals. Boeing 747-400ER OO-THC arrived just after lunch. It was operating [UAE9866] which normally arrives on a Saturday and is usually operated by a Boeing 777-200F. The freighter was preceded by Triple-Seven A6-ENI which arrived from DXB as [UAE2630].

As well as all of that, there were a few maintenance movements too, and of course the previously documented arrival of my 6th baby: B-18907. So read on dear chaps, read on…
