EVA Air B777-35EER

Final one from me today. It’s a random shot of an EVA triple-seven at Changi back in April 2014. Smiley

Singapore: 22nd September 2015.

Last post from me for a while. I conscious that the last time I wrote those words, I was gone nearly 3 months. Hopefully I’ll be back around 6th October or so. Main event today was the arrival of the latest SILKAIR Boeing 737. Airliners: 9V-MGM B738 Silkair: (13:45/-) [SLK8383] from GUM on delivery Biz: … Continue reading »

Changi: 21st September 2015.

Changi: 20th September 2015.

Just one biz arrival today but, for me at least, it was a real monster. It was Gulfstream V N85NV which was one of the oldest Gulfstream Vs that I need. Little else about today apart from the POLAR Boeing 747-4 which was probably a first visit. The EGYPTAIR A330 left in the early hours … Continue reading »

Singapore: 19th September 2015.

The award for the most random airliner movement of the year will probably go to EGYPTAIR A330 SU-GDV which turned up this evening. It was a KUL diversion; presumably because of the smog that doesn’t officially exist. None of today’s biz arrivals were of any real note although Global M-LWSA isn’t exactly regular either; a … Continue reading »

Changi: 18th September 2015.

With all due deference to Meghan Trainor, I have to say it was all about the biz today. Gulfstream G650 SX-GSB was the nicest but I have to wait until I’ve written this before dashing off to see it. Falcons HB-JFE, M-MNCC, Global N2QE, and Gulfstreams A6-HHH and RA-10203 were, as far as I know, all first … Continue reading »

Changi: 17th September 2015.

As expected with a Formula 1 event here this weekend there was more biz than usual today. There’s little to get excited about though. Gulfstream G650 ZK-KFB is of course worth a mention but it has been in before (and on a personal note, I didn’t need it then anyway) Surprisingly, it doesn’t seem to … Continue reading »

Changi: 16th September 2015.

There were a few biz arrivals today. The only confirmed F1 related one was the Spanish Gulfstream but I suspect some of the others are here for the race too. After a couple of false alarms during the week the ALLIANCE Fokker finally made it to Seletar. 16/9 Airliners: VH-NQE F100 Alliance Airlines: (-/12:00) Biz: … Continue reading »

Changi: 15th September 2015.

Two nice airliner first visits brightened up the evening. As far as I can tell (I didn’t drive the perimeter today) VH-NQE is still here. Biz-wise it was relatively busy but there was nothing out of the ordinary; although both the Swedish Falcon and Filipino Westwind usually inhabit Seletar. Staying on the Seletar theme BBJ … Continue reading »

Changi: 14th September 2015.

It’s been a while since I’ve led off with biz jets, but we had two winners today (albeit one had to wait until the following morning to go in the bag; a G550 and a Starbucks, what a a way to start a day!). Falcon 7X B-8211 arrived this afternoon, and Gulfstream G550 N517DW crept … Continue reading »

Changi: 13th September 2015.

The Legacy is intriguing. It’s VQ-BCS and according to LAAS it’s msn 14501089. However my SBS thinks its hex belongs to Legacy VQ-BFQ. VQ-BFQ landed at Seletar in August and when it departed last week, it had VQ-BCS in it’s call-sign box. So I wonder if VQ-BCS is maybe 14501062 ex-VQ-BFQ and not ex- 9K-KAP, 2-KAPP. … Continue reading »

Changi: 12th September 2015.

I had an email from Chris of Skyliner telling me that ASIAN EXPRESS AIRLINES A340-300 EY-680 was due in Changi today but as far as I can tell from SBS and iCargo it didn’t materialise. For the first time since the swap over from triple-sevens, a DELTA Boeing 767 came straight back. N180DN departed this … Continue reading »

Changi: 11th September 2015.

Very quiet today. The Delta 767 was again a ‘new’ one. The only other thing I can think of mentioning was the fact that the KLM Triple appeared to have died after arrival. It didn’t depart for Bali as planned and is still here as I write this. Global CS-LAM appears to have been a … Continue reading »

Singapore: 10th September 2015.

Another different THAI LION AIR pig and a different AIR BRIDGE Boeing 747-8 today; BATIK AIR please take note. BBJ VP-CZW left Seletar this morning and arrive back here from Kota Kinabalu; I don’t know if it went to BKI via somewhere else. The only other ‘biz’ was HONGKONG JET’s Airbus A330 VP-CBE. Airliners: HL7630 … Continue reading »

Changi: 9th September 2015.

THAI LION AIR finally got their act together and put in a new aircraft this morning. FEDERAL EXPRESS also obliged with their 3rd Boeing 767 making an appearance this evening. Staying with FEDERAL EXPRESS, I initially thought that Boeing 777 N868FD was making it’s first visit but it actually came here for the first time … Continue reading »
