Bits and pieces: 03-May-2017
More a case of rumour and conjecture rather than hard facts today. Whatever! Someone else has now told me that only 2 are being retired this year, with the rest to … Continue reading

Yesterday’s service was a little late and it left early this morning for Honkers. As mentioned elsewhere, MYANAMAR NATIONAL AIRWAYS started service here from Rangoon today. Airliners: VH-VKD B788 Jetstar Airways: … Continue reading
New Myanmar service to Changi
Another day, another new airline. It’s all go isn’t it? This time it’s the turn of MYANMAR (or, according to the press, MYANMAR NATIONAL AIRWAYS) to take the spotlight. They’ve started a RGN-SIN-RGN service using Boeing 737-800’s. As far as I know, they’ve only got the one at the moment and that’s XY-ALB which duly … Continue reading

AIRLINE NEWS. JAPAN AIRLINES (JL/JAL): I read a report that states that JAPAN AIRLINES will ‘double’ the frequency of their Tokyo-Singapore flights. No mention was made of when this might start.
